Plantin-Moretus museum

The Plantin-Moretus Museum is dedicated to the printing industry and is a 10-minute drive from the Arass Hotel & Business Flats.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the home and workshop of the Plantin-Moretus family of printers who left their mark on the history of Antwerp and the world of printing. Founded by Christopher Plantin in the 16th century, the company was later managed by his son-in-law Jan Moretus.

Old printing equipment including the oldest printing presses in the world, library, archives and works of art… the museum also houses a fine collection of paintings including portraits by Rubens, who was a friend of the family.

Enjoy a true haven of peace in the city center by visiting the museum’s garden.
